Skier Cowichan Sweater

This authentic Cowichan sweater was hand-knit by indigenous makers on Vancouver Island and the British Columbia mainland. Each sweater is inspired by the original 19th-century designs of the Cowichan, a Coast Salish people. In 2011, the Canadian government recognized Cowichan knitters and sweaters as nationally and historically significant.
